The Clouets are respected winegrowers from Bouzy. They are the children of Jean-Louis Bonnaire, who produces Paul Clouet champagnes in Cramant. The two estates were joined by marriage, and Marie-Thérèse Clouet-Bonnaire, who has her own buildings in Bouzy, welcomes visitors and customers. The wines are round and harmonious.

Now run by Marie-Thérèse Bonnaire, née Clouet (Paul was her grandfather), this estate boasts three well-placed hectares in the Bouzy Grand Cru. Its range of champagnes pinotes strongly, especially the cuvée Grand cru and the rosé, which express the excellent maturity of the harvest.

The wines: a short range that confirms its consistency and full-bodied style, with a full-bodied Brut Sélection, beautifully mature, without heaviness; followed by a more mineral, firm, structured Grand Cru, carried by fine, frank bitters (for laying down); and a rosé with a real cherry taste, typical of Pinot and Bouzy.
